“My friend and I went to Gaucho's last evening and had a wonderful time. We were initially seated in the bar which is not convenient to the salad bar. I asked to be seated in the main restaurant and they did so with pleasure and right away. The food was excellent and plentiful. The 35 item salad bar had all the makings for a beautiful green salad plus other great salads including an egg salad, chicken salad and several others that I didn't try. They also had smoked salmon and a large variety of fresh fruit. The truth is you could make a great meal just on the salad bar. Shelly was our waitress and she was great. The meats and sea food were beautifully seasoned and cooked to order (we both preferred medium rare to rare for our red meat). The desserts were gorgeous and tasted as good as they looked. Everyone treated us as though we were special and important customers. They even gave us a birthday discount though Jenn's birthday wasn't until Sunday, 4 days away. My only disappointment was that they apparently don't serve lamb on Wednesdays.”
