The Whittaker Inn

5 star service, 5 star food! Had dinner reservations at the Inn for my wife's birthday, we had the dinning area to ourselves, we felt like special guests! I wanted a more private and intimate setting at this was beyond perfect. I messed up the reservation dates, but I cannot stress enough how kind and understanding Elizabeth was when we ended up missing the initial reservation. The food (fish n chips and stuffed pork chop) was some of the best I've had. You can even taste the care behind it, no seriously, they aren't slinging mass quantities of steaks like your local steak joint just to get them out. We cant wait to come back and stay in one of there rooms and really enjoy the grounds. Which by the way, perfect location, tucked away, literally had a relaxed feeling stepping out of the car. Wonder if they have any future plans in store for on ground activities. Cant say enough good things! try it out, you wont be disappointed!

This bed and breakfast is definitely a 5 star accommodation. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings. The finishings furniture are luxurious and comfortable. The staff are beyond accommodating and kind, but allow the privacy of any hotel. The food is amazing, and meals can be had in room or dining hall! Felt totally at home and plan to return soon for another stay-cation. Also, felt totally safe during pandemic given cleanliness, preventative measures, and size of property.

We had the reversal dinner for our son's wedding at the Whittaker as well as using the two suites for the wedding couple and guests. The dinner and service was wonderful. The quality of food is amazing. They are very accommodating and took great care of us. We had access to the dinning room as well as the outdoor patio for our dinner. It is a great place for gatherings, an intimate stay or just a dinner out. The guests that stayed raved about the rooms and service. A beautiful setting in the peaceful countryside and close enough to access Lafayette and West Lafayette or Purdue

We loved our stay here and plan to be back! After this experience I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in this area. Our room was nicely furnished, the bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed its private patio. The restaurant stands on its own as one of the best in the area with Chef specialties and home made pies. We enjoyed outdoor dining and refreshing house cocktails next to the fire-pit and panoramic forest views. The indoor dining room is beautiful as well. A treat!

Stayed for my partner's birthday, the environment was exceptionally warming and detailed on the decorations. We stayed in Norway room, great use of colors and very comfortable furniture.
Food great. Wonderful breakfast in the room. I called ahead of time asking for a birthday cake and they prepared a cute delicious dark chocolate cake for two.
We live in Lafayette and feel this is going to be our favorite place for staycations. Cannot wait to try all the rooms!!!!
