The ambience is great with patio seating, spacious accommodation, modern look to the place, and woodsy furniture. But the food fell short of my expectations. I ordered risotto and the rice came out uncooked. As a substitute to my order, I was given superfood salad, which was great. I would have appreciated a more diverse menu---what would be great is if they had fish and vegan options on the menu.
Now here's a local place that actually cares about the food they make. They have a small, but unique menu that looks like pretty standard fair, but the difference is in the details.
My other half had the Brisket and Short Rib burger. It's pretty much a regular hamburger. I had the Lamb Burger at the recommendation of the server and it was among the best burgers I've had in this state.
They offer a salad dressing I've never seen before - a cucumber wasabi. That, too, was a very good departure from the normal ranch/Italian/vinaigrette.
Service, atmosphere, and decor are on-point.
This is a big city-caliber restaurant--very refreshing. The ambiance is very trendy, with a nice casual vibe where you can feel comfortable dressed up for date night or casually with the kids.
I've had both the Bryant Burger and the Chorizo burger, and both were of excellent quality. The burgers are made with a combination of meats (Bryant Burger has short rib in it), and both burgers melted in the mouth (cooked medium). I am not a big burger fan, and I loved these! Probably the best burgers I've ever had. These burgers are definitely worth eating, and I was very full after both.
Honestly if I could give this place 6 stars, I would. The highest quality food and ingredients we've had in any restaurant in the Lafayette area.
Super tasty and unique dishes. I would highly recommend any of the burgers. The milkshakes are fairly price and leave something to be desired so I would avoid those. Besides that, everything is incredibly excellent. Our waitress was very helpful and nice. Looking forward to going back here.
The food was good and the service from Michael was very good. We sat at the high tables with no place for our feet so they dangled during the meal. We were there on a Saturday so it was busy. They did well moving people and using their text alert system. The noise level was not pleasant. Great place for the hip crowd.
