    Before you enter Shaukin you are smacked in the face by amazing aromas and upon entering its even more intense. The food is as delicious as it smells. Rarely do I give five stars but this establishment is deserving. I had the butter chicken and naan bread, both of which were superb and even made my very picky girlfriend happy. 5 stars

    We've been loyal patrons of this place for years (even through the change in ownership). The short truth is that the food here is outstanding, but the service if you are eating-in is very, very slow. However, you won't find better Indian food anywhere else in the area, especially if you like anything above mild spice. Thus, I recommend the take out. You won't be sorry. Only eat in the shop if you have 2 hours to spare and want to enjoy the atmosphere of a busy college town.
