DAM-SO Korean restaurant

They opened in the summer of 2019 to replace the restaurant, Kibu Cafe which was here originally. We visited in August expecting Kibu, but came to a pleasant surprise. The price is a slight bump-up from Kibu, and rightfully so. The meat and vegetables are fresh, and sauce tastes home-made. Wife ordered dolsot bibimbap and I ordered bulgogi. They both taste fantastic. The side dishes are nothing fancy like mashed potato or fish cake, but nevertheless well made. I cannot eat seaweed but I drink the soup anyways. Everything is good in the restaurant, and we will definitely come back!

Nice environment with good quality food.
Their pancake is built up with long thin green onion strips which tastes good and different from the one you can have in kimchi Korean restaurant here. I also like their ox bone soup and seaweed soup. Besides food, there are many interesting cultural decorations, butterfly orchid and ginseng in the restaurant. I really enjoy the time eating there!

New Korean restaurant in Purdue that serves quality korean food. Great atmosphere and wonderful food with great price. If you want a good korean food experience, this is the restaurant you are looking for.

Great food and reasonable price. The restaurant was very clean since it was new. I especially loved side dishes that comes along with entrees. Also, Since it’s very close to campus, I think it’s a good place to dine in when I have some free time between classes.

If you want to have a taste of a true Korean dish, definitely visit Dam-so. I've been to all of the Asian restaurants around but Dam-so was the best. Kind chef and waiters. Its new so it's clean as well.
