“Excellent steakhouse, tucked away from Lafayette and West Lafayette, just about a mile before the site of Feast of the Hunter's Moon and right on the Wabash River, so there is a fantastic view in the summer. More upscale than most restaurants in the area and a bit pricey, but worth it! The Beef Tips in Bourbon Sauce are to die for! Fantastic wine, cocktail and beer selection; fish, chops and chicken dishes also available. Last time I was there, I had the sirloin, which was a little dry for being 'rare' but still very good. Their fillet is top-notch. Altogether, including drinks for my date and I, the total came to a little over $70, sans tip. A great place for a date night. I've spent more on sushi for my granddaughter and I without drinks!”

“First thing you should know, the eggs suck. They're palatable if you salt and pepper them and add ketchup or hot sauce to your preference. Moving on, the food is quite hit or miss, but thanks to the ever present pizza, salad, and sandwich bars, you'll probably never go without something worth eating. Here are the best things they server here in my opinion: Anything Mexican, Pasta, Tikka Masala, General Tao's, Thai Chicken Basil, and the Spicy Fried Chicken Breast. Also, if you have no friends like me, there's a couple of great eating bars where you can sit alone and eat without looking like a loser or occupying an entire table. Overall, if you're dorm or apartment is close to Ford, you can't go wrong picking it.”

Seating arrangement forces you to be elbow to elbow with those seated next to you, but that's part of the charm. Plenty of outdoor table seating. “Yummy food, nice waitstaff, cool scenery, clean restrooms, ample parking. The food is great, the atmosphere is okay. "Okay" as in, the resaurant felt a little bit dusty, and the dude behind the register did not smile at any point. However, the waitstaff was excellent. I believe the manager or owner was behind the register at the time when I paid. He was the only one in the restaurant not wearing a uniformed shirt. There are a lot of interesting newspaper clippings and articles along the walls when you enter, which are all regarding the fame and history of the restaurant. There are also LOTS of sports memorabilia and sport related knickknacks in the restaurant. Parking was supple, and free. The restrooms are very clean. So, 4 out of 5 due to perceived indifference from the manager or owner behind the register. He seemed to want my money, but not my business, if that makes sense.”
