“Sandwiches are really very good. Bread is awesome tasting. Lots of meat and just the perfect amount of vegetables, etc. When asked if you want potatoes or salad, take the potatoes. You won’t be disappointed. They are seasoned perfectly. Nothing bad to say about this place except that the opening hours are too few. Prices are in line with a meal in other restaurants in this area although maybe slightly more expensive if you consider that you are only getting a sandwich. They run it out of an old Taco John’s location. No remodeling whatsoever. But you come here for the sandwiches and not the atmosphere, so it’s ok. Highly recommended for lunch. Only open Sunday - Wednesday lunch hours. Give it a shot. You’ll be glad you did.”

“I've been the only customer and the wait was to long both in the store and in the drive though. The drive through speaker is to quiet as well. I had to pester them to get a response and then they changed people before I could place my order. The food is super salty and why are burritos made in sideways layers? Who wants a mouth full of only one ingredient? Not me for sure. The tacos are good but not enough cheese on them, I couldn't taste it at all. The new management is making improvements but I'm still not satisfied. I'll keep going there as Charles City has nothing else like it for fast food but I won't fully commit to being a regular. This town is full of people who are regular customers so this location could greatly benefit from meeting customers basic needs. Faster service, take salt out of food and fix the drive through speaker so orders are clear to the staff.”

“Loved the food here. My grilled tenderloin was so flavorful. The beer list was admirable, too. It was super cold inside on the day of my visit but that happens. Subtracting stars because these restrooms are atrocious. If I'd have used the bathroom first, I wouldn't have ordered food. The main house looks so clean and well decorated as a sports bar. Please, make these changes in your restrooms...I couldn't help but wonder if you'd invited the kitchen, too.”

“We went for Pat's Sunday Dinner today and were thoroughly impressed! Ordered one with the BBQ chicken and one with the ribs, got Mac and cheese and greens for the side along with cornbread. We don't typically order ribs but after having the tips, we knew we had to try them. They did not disappoint! The flavors of the rub and sauce were a great combination and they are done to "fall off the bone" perfection! The BBQ chicken legs were equally delicious, and were cleaned to the bone, as well. Literally, finger licking good... Now for the sides... The meat is worth going for on its own but wow, the sides were both equally amazing! We try Mac and cheese at most barbecue restaurants and usually have mixed reviews on them within our group, however, it was unanimous that these were towards the top of what we've had. Perfect mix of cheese, great baked topping, some serious flavor coming through and perfect texture. The greens blew our mind... Really, can greens be that good? Yes, they are! Now we understand why greens are so popular. You need to try these! The cornbread was equally good - perfect companion to the meal. We talked to the owners who were very friendly and interested in customers opinions. They truly are listening to their customers and want to make it a great experience. This is a much needed addition to the options available in Charles City. Thank you for sharing some incredible food with us. We are anxious to see what's next!
