Copper Boar American Pub

My partner and I were so pleased with our experience here! The food is absolutely amazing. Each thing on the menu is carefully crafted and unique. Scrumptious dessert menu!
We have been a couple of times, once for lunch and once for dinner and the service was above and beyond.
The cocktail selection is incredibly creative and love they have seasonal drinks, but they also have your favorite staples. The beer selection is beyond adequate.
So glad we moved closer to North Liberty, so we can enjoy this restaurant more often! Highly recommend!
The appearance of the restaurant is gorgeous! They also have a beautiful patio with a fire, even when it's cold, we look forward to enjoying during warmer months! Love the ambiance this creates, as you can see if from the bar area. The overall feel of the restaurant is very hip gastropub with friendly staff.

I’ve been to Copper Boar three times now, each visit has been excellent! Twice it has been for drinks and appetizers at the bar and once for supper with my wife. Drinks were fantastic and the service was great, but the star is definitely the food! I’ve had the squash soup all three visits, it’s literally one of the best soups I’ve ever tried. Velvety soup with crème fraiche and seasoned, roasted pepitas on top. It is amazing! I look forward to my next visit and just saw they’ve expanded their menu. Do yourself a favor, try this place out.

I've been here when it was another business & I was excited to try the new menu. Unfortunately, although the menu is filled with much more appeasing dishes the execution was just, ok. I ordered the Pub Burger w/ fries & the Kids Mac n Cheese w/ Applesauce. It took forever to get our food (which the staff was great about) but the flavors in the food were simply underwhelming. The Spiced Cranberry & Cider drink I also ordered & the outdoor atmosphere are what earned the stars. I would definitely come back to have a few drinks and socialize (especially outdoors) but I will probably eat somewhere else first. Side note, if you are into selfies their women's bathroom mirror is Lit...literally.

Cool drink menu. Love the beer cocktails. Food menu is pretty varied. You’ll spend about $15-20 depending on what you get. Typical kind of American bar food and they also have pan pizza.

Love this place! The food and atmosphere were amazing and the staff was so friendly! I don’t drink, but asked them for a mocktail and it was incredible. The banana pudding was scary delicious, and the fish and chips were stupid good. Can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu! Stoked this is in North Liberty! :)
