Vitos Cedar Rapids

We really enjoy this location and tonight our server was really great. I ordered the Santa Fe BBQ Ranch Salad and chose it because it had avocado in it. When I got it and started eating, I realized there weren't any avocados in it so I told the server the next time he came around. He asked the kitchen and they said they were out. I was disappointed because the only response that I got was that he was sorry and he would have told me if he'd have known they were out of avocados. No discount or offer to do so. Maybe it's because I didn't raise a stink and get upset, but it was entirely the reason I chose that menu item and the salad was pretty meh without it.
We generally have very good experiences here.

Great pizza! Great service. Sat outside on upper deck. Made from scratch pizza--excellant!! Monday and Wednesday nights are half price pizza nights.

Tasty dishes. Quaint bar atmosphere yet nice secluded dining areas away from the bar. I like the wood and stained glass touches.

I was a little skeptical due to the fact that the YELP reviews were at a 2.0, but I was pleasantly surprised! I haven’t been to this place in 4 years! Went there around 3:30, it seemed like the place was a ghost town. Our server was also the bartender, they were perfectly staffed. The bartender gave us good recommendations and the food was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend the French dip philly style.
