Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Perkins. Open when you need them & mostly consistent. Large menu selections, except on a holiday, they limit the menu. Usually friendly & prompt service, but occasionally will get the opposite. Everyone has bad days, so I give them grace.

The finest Perkins in existence. You will not find better food and service than this place, if you're a Perkins fan. There's more than one former restaurant manager working here, the staff are all wonderful. The cooks obviously take pride in their work, we've really enjoyed dining here.

There was a minor mistake in our order. Our server, Antonio (?) went above & beyond to make it right. Food was very good. Plus - free pie on Mondays!! In case you are from out of town, Perkins sits behind Jethro's so it is hard to see. This is one of the better Perkins we have been to.

This location in Altoona was very clean. Our server was very good and polite. The manager, Greg welcomed each guest. We had good hot food and we enjoyed our visit.
We liked this location a lot.

Traveling through. Hotel I picked on line I did not feel comfortable staying at. Decided to change strategies and look for a place to eat. Found Perkins. Tired and hungry, they had great service, good food, quite salty though, and I found a nice hotel while dining.
