District 36 Wine Bar & Grille

Food selection very good, service all around was excellent. Food was top drawer and prices quite reasonable. Been there several times and each time terrific. I will continue to eat there.

District 36 is in a very modern shopping and entertainment district in Ankeny. The ambiance varies between formal and informal. District 36 menu spans a wide variety of food offerings all of which are well cooked and seasoned. Full bar and attentive staff round out a great experience. Definitely somewhere to choose for a great date night or a family get together.

We love going here. Even our kids (5 and 7) ask to come here. It is clean, drinks are good, food servings are generous. Steak is always cooked perfectly and staff is friendly. We like going on 1/2 price wine bottle days and trying the wine. If you want a nice meal in a great setting, you need to try this place, well worth it.

Had dinner with a friend and what a great atmosphere! The food was so good!! Sarah, our waitress, was a pleasure and really attentive the whole night. Phenomenal service! Would recommend Monday night special if going for the first time. Incredible deal and my friend got to take the bottle of wine home ;) 5 stars for sure! Thanks Sarah ;)
