Applebee's Grill + Bar

Great food, great drinks, and great service. If you want a quick drink or snack (maybe the strawberry lemonade and won ton tacos) or a nice leisurely lunch or dinner with friends, this is the perfect place. I've always had friendly servers and the menu selection is pretty diverse. Don't forget their to-go service!

Our food was good. The employees were helpful and friendly. I'm sorry to say we had one unfriendly employee we encountered. Overall it's worth a try. Enjoy.

Our server was fantastic and the food was great. I do not feel comfortable when an employee walks by in her turtle costume brushing her very long hair next to where I'm eating in very close proximity swinging it back and forth and thinking it was perfectly normal. Working in the food industry for years, cleanliness, having your hair either up, back and restrained, and appearance are crucial that every employee should know.

My peer and I had a quick lunch before heading to see a customer during a recent business trip to Des Moines. This Applebee's was well-staffed, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I got a salad - I wasn't that hungry - and couldn't finish it. It was large and very good. Nice place to stop for a quick, yet healthy/good, lunch! We frequent this location a lot. The service is always top notch and the food is great! We only wish they would go back to the blend of seasoning they used to use on the steaks. Overall, great place to eat!
