We had the catfish with greens and white cheddar grits and the ribs, brisket and sausage with red beans and rice and chicken creole. Very nice waiter, kind people. . .absolutely deliscious. The best cajun food we have ever had. Different flavors, everything was exceptional and unique. Definitely stands out. Not anything around like it. Every taste was a new and fresh twist but also classic and hearty.

First time at this restaurant. We both had shrimp and grits, it was amazing. Shared a house salad which was very good. The owner stopped at our table and upon learning we were first time visitors, he brought out a piece of their brisket. It was the most tender and flavorful brisket I have ever had. My niece is a vegan, so we asked him if they had something for her. He said if nothing on the menu appealed to her, let him know and they will whip something special for her.

Unfortunately I only get to the Flying Mango a couple times a year when I'm traveling. Most food establishments will have a bad day on occasion but I have never known that to be the case here. Expertly prepared smoked meats and other cuisine mostly with a southern and creole flair. Always fresh and always good!

Food and service were excellent, had brisket, cornbread and red beans and rice. Way too much for me to eat, but took some home for later. Atmosphere was great. Around $20 to $25 a person and well worth the trip. Had large group of 16 people, called a few weeks before and set up. Worked great.

I want to say don't go here just so it doesn't get too crowded that I cant get in. This place is a hidden gem. The food is aw.aw.awesome. The owners and staff treat you like family. 5-Stars and 2 Thumbs up.
