    This is probably my favorite place to eat in Des Moines. I love to get lunch for my coworkers here. The food is always delicious and the customer service is wonderful! I definitely recommend eating here.

    This is the perfect place for eating alone or with a group. Food is always delicious, and something for everyone to enjoy! Kids or grown-ups, you can't go wrong

    In the continuation of working through the alphabet of restaurants here in Central Iowa. Jim's Coney Island met the "J".
    Jim's is a Southside staple restaurant that serves comfort food at a good price then this is the place.
    Downside is that of the five meals ordered we all said that it was lacking flavor. I ordered the gyro platter, the fries and onion rings were good but the gyro was unexciting. The tzatziki sauce was overly runny and really didn't add to flavor and was missing seasoning.
    Wife ordered the chili dog and said the chili was boring and also lacking seasoning.

    That all said, we will return to Jim's Coney Island. Rated higher with us than more expensive restaurants we've visited so far.
