LA MICHOACANA ICE CREAM

They have all kinds of snacks, from corn cups to ice cream Popsicles and Mexican food. I came here grabbed a snack and sat outside. Near a bike lane. Service was good. Will come back.

Ordered one tamal and a kiwi paleta and let me say, it absolutely hit the spot. Workers greeted me right away and handed me a menu, and the choices they had were great for a cold April afternoon. I'll definitely be back for birras and the horchata ice cream interests me. 10/10 would order again, and for only $6 it was a great deal.

What a special place! Amazing handmade popsicles and ice cream. We also enjoyed the tacos, sopes, and empanadas! So cute inside, I can't wait until summertime to enjoy ice cream on the outdoor patio!

The food here is incredible. I’m obsessed with steak tortas. The fries are crazy good, and then carne asada fries are even more amazing. The staff is super nice and everyone I’ve talked to speaks great English. When I called to place an order they answered in Spanish but switched right away when I said I’d like to make an order for pickup, so don’t feel intimidated to call them or talk to them if you don’t speak Spanish! :)

The Chicken Burrito with mayo is beyond amazing and the banana Smooties are closer to the runny side but very tasty as well.

The main menu is in Spanish, they have smaller take home menus in English. Price is about the same as most other take out restaurants. My chicken burrito that came with fries was around $10.

Parking is limited but it's next to the school so if it's after school hours there is close parking there also some street parking on 50th st.
