The Chicken Shack

The young man working front counter was EXCELLENT!! Friendly, thorough, and efficient. The food was fresh and hot and didn't take too long. A kitchen employee came up front to get something and she smiled and greeted me before going back to the back. Great service on top of great food = very happy customer!!! I have years of fast food management experience and even I was impressed!! And FUNNEL CAKE FRIES - AMAZING!

For a fast food restaurant, the building was clean and the staff were friendly. I rate the service a three due to multiple errors in our order. We were charged for the wrong meal, an item was missing from the order (which was promptly fixed without issue) and the wrong sauce was on one of the ordered items. The chicken wasn't the worst but was a bit tough (tasted a bit overcooked). Both the chicken and fries were extremely salty. Though the fries were still decent. If I come back it would be for the fries.

Great food!! Would take over KFC and Popeyes any day of the week. The tenders are the biggest I've ever seen, and thier other portion sizes are huge. Crispy, tender chicken and delicious fries. The service was very good as well.

Our first time visiting this new place, this was also their first Saturday open. I had the chicken bacon ranch wrap and a draft beer. The wrap was quite large, tomato basil wrap. Cool, crispy lettuce and tomatoes and juicy warm chicken and bacon. I went with the fried chicken instead of the grilled, but you have the choice. The wrap was delicious, great flavor.

My wife had the 3 chicken fingers combo. Instead of fries she went with the mac and cheese for an upcharge. She got a bottle of pop with the meal to take home and an ice water for no charge. Her sauce was the honey garlic. This was a sauce you could get smothered on the chicken or on the side for dipping. She said the chicken maybe needed a pinch of salt in the batter but that's a minimal issue, overall fantastic. The mac was good and creamy.

So overall we had a great first visit and hope they continue to be open on Saturdays! We recommend Chicken Shack to anyone. Food came out quick and very friendly and attentive staff. Clean place!
