Totally mediocre. Cold/stale bread. Sad salad. Basic garlic bread. Soggy chicken Romano. Poor atmosphere. Sticky table, crummy booth. Everything disappointed ? had high expectations tho. Waited about an hour on Saturday around 6. Service was good if that's just what you're looking for. $100 down the toilet. Area kinda sucks too.

Great Southside place. Family run. Does great job distancing tables. Reasonably priced. Superb service.

    I love this place.
The Tumea family serves up their old world family recipes with pride. They have a full service bar, top notch wait staff, and a great atmosphere. The customers are mostly regulars. It seemed like the owner, who works the bar, knew everyone who was either coming or going by name, you may even spot a few local celebrities. I recommend getting there early for seating.

The service is excellent every time. The food takes me back to Sunday dinner as a child in Philly. This is leaps and bounds above any Italian food that I have had anywhere in the USA since leaving Philly! The Angel Hair with sausage sauce, a meatball, and a sausage link is my usual. It is always delicious and perfect.

Tumea & Sons has been a family favorite of my wife. We started off with dirty martinis, which were good. We skipped appetizers and went straight to entrees. Wife ordered chicken Asiago with garden salad and I ordered steak de burgos and caesar salad. We selected a carafe of house red zin. Wine list offered large variety of choices at reasonable prices. Wife loved her dish while mine was good but did not wow me. Finished dinner with absolutely luscious Tira Misu. Service was very attentive. Heartily recommended.
