Tasty Tacos

Nothing is impossible. If you live in the DSM area and you haven't been to Tasty Tacos, you're doing yourself a disservice.

Flaky fried flour tortillas make their tacos special. Local ownership, a long history in this city, and a good variety on the menu make it a sure bet.

Taco Bell will never compare.

The food was fast, fresh and delicious. The workers were nice and answered the questions I had. They seemed happy to be there. The building was clean and pleasant. They forgot part of the order but were quick to correct it and apologized for it. Great place all around.

I've been eating these tacos since 1978. It is not hard for me to say I have eaten hundreds and hundreds of them and enchiladas. The sauce is always good but some days the heat can get pretty high. The prices are getting a little to high. I know good things cost but 3.25 a taco is a tad hi Andy. Dont price yourself out of competition.

One of my favorite places in the Des Moines Metro area. Great food, fast service. Make sure you get flour tacos. The taco shells are amazing. Their hot sauce isn't super hot but tastes pretty damn good.

I visited the Ankeny location. It was my first time at Tasty Tacos. I had heard great things and I have looked forward to giving them a try.

It was after 7pm, there was a line out the door l, but they were keeping the line moving. A local recommended the original flour tacos. He told me to get two and make sure and grab some sauce.

They came out hot, fresh, and really tasty. (See pics below) I was not disappointed.

I am from out of state but.I hope to go back some day.

Clean dining, kitchen, and restroom facilities.
