Found this spot via Google. When we arrived it was not busy at all. It was a beautiful day and we decided to sit on the covered patio.

The food was served hot, the presentation was good, and importantly the food was very tasty. The group had chicken and steak for dinner.

Parking and access was very easy.

Highly recommend! The presentation of the food alone was top notch. The food was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The staff were on point and knew everything about every item.
Can’t wait to go again!!!

Miso salmon was spectacular.
Mushroom Melody app flatbread, fabulous.
Hanger steak, very delicious, and cook spot on with the tables two orders (medium and mid-rare). Bang-bang shrimp are good, but nothing to write home about, but not wrong to order.

Lemoncello cake, to kill for. 😋

Drinks were delicious, not very busy while we were there, light staff for a newer place.

We'll be back for sure.

Very nice addition to Johnston! May want to utilize booking a reservation on busy nights. Food was absolutely delicious especially the Creamy Alfredo pasta, garlic mashed potatoes & Ceaser salad. Husband asked for his All-American Burger medium rare, but it came out well done. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Love that there was a nice lil selection of mocktails. Drinks I saw coming out looked tasty & garnished nicely. Staff & atmosphere were great. Our waitress even boxed up our meals leftover for us which is always a nice touch. Excited to use the patio in the spring!

Amazing food and staff!! We had a few apps (all great) and I had the wagyu burger which has to be one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and was kind enough to share the owner’s story/ the reason behind the name Roots95. Overall great experience and atmosphere, we can’t wait to come back and try some desserts once they’re available!
