“Food was excellent: French fries were hot and crispy, chicken strips were perfectly breaded, bread was lightly toasted. Service was also excellent: food was prepared in the time it took me to pour a beverage, all staff was friendly. Only downside was dirty restroom, with broken, loose toilet seat and messy floor. Otherwise a great meal.”

“Nice Place, needs some work but this obviously takes time. These folks have what could be a Nice Bar, but also could be a Weekend Club as well. If they put in a sound system / DJ booth and dance floor area, " nothing fancy is needed," and there is room so why not take this place to it's full potential?? Wouldn't take a lot of money either, but you have a potential gold mine sitting there.....”

“Found this spot via Google. When we arrived it was not busy at all. It was a beautiful day and we decided to sit on the covered patio. The food was served hot, the presentation was good, and importantly the food was very tasty. The group had chicken and steak for dinner. Parking and access was very easy.”

“This establishment was Plaza Mexico about a decade ago, and it was THE BEST Mexican around - food, experience, and who remembers the complimentary ice cream pita with your check?! We'd kick off Tuesday night karaoke here often, even though we were going to a bar in Clive, and none of us lived in Johnston. Later they sold to someone else, and the name escapes me, but it wasn't the same experience. Today, I was feeling nostalgic and we had been tipped by a client to get lunch fir finishing early, and we were in the area. Turns out, it's changed ownership again. Looking at the menu, it's a fusion of American burgers and traditional Mexican dishes. Our server, Victor, was friendly and helpful. The food was to DIE FOR. Pico de Gallo is my favorite Mexican restaurant, the same location that held that title for so long for me. They've been open about 6 months - go show them some love, you won't regret it!!”

“My fiance and I went Saturday to pick up kolaches for breakfast and got a great start to our day. The food never disappoints, we got some andouille, cheese and egg kolaches and a fruit one. Everything was fresh and delicious. Zach is very inviting and makes every unique and worthwhile. Such a genuine soul!”

“What a fun place! You can definitely feel like a kid again with all the retro arcade games available! The main seating area is separate from the games so if you wanted to sit and chat with a group you are able to do so. They have some great outdoor seating out of the sun shortly after noon. The food was pretty good. Only had the Pocket burger, but based on the taste I am looking forward to coming back and trying more! Also had the Murderhorn and it was delicious! The staff were super friendly and great to chat with!”
