good and wholesome food, especially when you're traveling.
The staff is great, too.

(October 22, 2020, 12:43 am)A $$$ priced restaurant for Des Moines, having smaller proportions, but had delicate Pumpkin Rivoli with a complex cocktail (the best I've had) and lively atmosphere and service. If I'm open to $$$, a wonderful find.

(September 10, 2020, 2:11 am)The head chef/owner has created something special here, local ingredients and creative twists on classics like Nashville Hot Chicken, which they have turned into "Not Nashville Hot Chicken" is a culinary fusion delight. Was the perfect spot for an anniversary date!

(August 30, 2020, 2:33 pm)Easiest 5 stars to give a restaurant ever. The service is so far beyond anywhere else in town it's crazy, and I've eaten at most of them. The food is creative, comforting, and classy. I sometimes find myself daydreaming about their chorizo biscuits and gravy at Sunday Brunch.
