“Located on top of the State Historical Museum a great view of Downtown is assured. We were at the museum with our 7 & 10 yr. old niece and nephew and needed lunch. Cafe Barratta turned out t be an excellent choice. Good food, relatively cheap, decent kids menu and the lunch special is a bargain. The service was very good. I do think they should rethink the pictures in the Cafe: there's a series of an old guy getting some sort of massage therapy that are not pleasant to look at over a meal. We will definitely eat here on future visits to the museum.”

“Came to try their $6 burger deal and was not disappointed. My burger was juicy and flavorful. My order came out pretty quick and the bar tenders and wait staff were friendly. My only complaint was the burger was a bit small but you get what you pay for. Overall great place for a quick bite! Note: If you don't have great vision, make sure to bring reading glasses or a light because the place gets a bit dark.”

“Sabor Latino is the real deal ! Romona the owner is absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a true Dominican experience, you HAVE to go to Sabor Latino and see Romona . The hospitality is unmatched anywhere we went in Puerto Plata , Romona is like family , it was like we had known her our whole life . The beer is served perfectly cold . The food was absolutely amazing and delicious, we had a traditional Dominican Republic dinner with fried fish, chicken with gravy and beans with rice and all the fixings . We had dinner with her and her family and friends. It was something we are so grateful for.”

They have many forms of shrimp dishes if you like seafood. I stopped in here for dinner one night. I had a nice time. 10 bucks with a drink was very reasonable. Loved the fried calamari and salt-and-pepper shrimp.they had just one type of sushi. But it's just your typical Chinese buffet. Stop by for dinner.”

“A great little pub on the East Side of Des Moines. My girlfriend and I went for breakfast. We were very pleasantly surprised with it being a bar/pub. The breakfast was very good and the price was great for the serving size, and the server who was also the bartender was amazing. She was polite, professional, and very friendly. The servings were bigger than expected so we actually had some food leftover to take home. It is definitely a place I would go for breakfast again.”

“Pretty fast food in my opinion. You can tell they are family owned. Staff is very nice and friendly and they try to make you feel welcome. Pho and Bubble Tea were very tasty. Only thing is wish the utensils and condiments on the tables were cleaner or more sanitary. All the soup spoons are left out at the tables instead of fresh spoons coming out with your order.”
