Gusto Pizza Co.

Gusto is the best pizza in Des Moines! We moved here from another city and have really struggled with the pizza scene in Des Moines. Gusto is our savior. You have to pay a little more than some places, but it is worth it. They hit the ratios just right and always have fresh, tasty ingredients. And their specialty pizzas are awesome.

First time here and it's awesome! Friendly staff, clean dining area, bomb pizza. We will definitely be back!

Great locally made pizza and a really nice outdoor dining area. They’ve got a pretty decent selection of vegetarian and vegan options as well. It’s worth noting that the pizza is all very thin, and there aren’t a lot of toppings for what you pay. Still, if your appetite isn’t huge, it’s very tasty stuff:

Gusto has good service and I enjoy the secret menu. Nice clean location although I'm not a big fan of their pizza.

If you're not into the pizza there are some salad and misc other options. A little on the pricey side but also good quality ingredients so you get what you pay for.

Ate at this one out on West University, just as good as the one downtown. I'm usually not a thin crust guy but Gusto crust is thin but not like a cracker. They put in plenty of toppings, my favorite is the Spartacus, meaty and a little spicy. So far I've been impressed with the service/help, not that they're doing a lot but they've all been friendly and personable.
