“I really like the new, updated McDonald's. It's a lot nicer than before, with a different kids play place as well. The jungle gym, if you will, is A LOT SMALLER than before, so it caters more to smaller children; however, there is also a big gaming board (like a huge tablet but with only 8 games or so) that's fun for my child, and an interactive experience in which you can play games on the floor with computer generated games (hard to explain!!). It was clean, the food was good too.”

“Love this place! They have some nice foodie options and standard favorites on the menu. I had pasta with pulled chicken and jalapeno cream sauce, my husband had walleye - both were DELISH! Then we shared an awesome chocolate cake that had a middle layer of a crumbly mixture with a hint of cinnamon. Perfect dessert after both our entrees! We'll be back!”

“So I want to start by saying that my first visit to this restaurant was great. Great food, service, drinks, great place overall. So my husband and I returned recently to celebrate. Our waitress was a bit absent, slow, and aloof, we saw more of our neighbors waitress than our own. When served our salad, we found mold on the onions, alerted a different waitress and got replacements without explanation or apology. Our food was decent and so were drinks. Unfortunately the women's bathroom appeared clean but smelled like stale urine. Overall, I'm giving 3 stars due to low service quality, moldy salads, and a smelly bathroom. We were disappointed because we really enjoyed our first visit. I don't think we will be back.”

“One might not think much of a small sushi restaurant nestled in a strip mall. It only consists of a few tables and a sushi bar. However, the food is very nice. The lunch boxes are very reasonably priced and you get a lot of food for your value. Even with generous portions, they do not skimp on quality. The specialty sushi rolls are full of complex flavors. I am particularly fond of the angry dragon roll. The hot food comes out of the kitchen piping hot, the sushi and salads come out cold. The decor is whimsical, even going as far as having Halloween drink specials. The servers are friendly and attentive. If you are looking for a quick lunch, a nice dinner, or even a meal after shopping at the nearby grocery store, this is the place to go.”

“Sometimes simplicity is best. Their hot and ready pizzas are nothing special but are a great value for what you receive. I do like their crust and tomato sauce. Nothing I hate more than a pizza dripping in too sweet tomato sauce. Their specialty pizzas are very good. They're generous with toppings and it makes for a delicious pizza. “We had made reservations a couple months ago for 30 people for 5 pm on Sunday. Contact had been made several times to confirm. When we arrived, they had not reserved tables for us and did not seem to know we were coming. They informed us the kitchen was closing (even though it's posted that they are open until 10 pm with the kitchen open until 9) A craft show was in the process of closing down and there was still a good number of people there. After complaining, they agreed to leave the kitchen open until 6. We ordered onion rings, chicken, mushrooms, and brussel sprouts. They were extremely salty. They did make a decent cocktail. At 7 pm were were basically ushered out when they dimmed the lights, cleared the liquor out of the bar and shut off the TVs. Overall, a very disappointing experience, we will not return.”

I'm not a coffee connoisseur so can't comment except occasionally I'll get a coffee/mocha drink and I just tell them to make it sweet and it works for me.”

“El fogon is great for a quick lunch or date night. I like to get their tacos or fajitas because their handmade tortillas are so yummy. Their food is very flavorful. I’ve been coming to this location for 3 years and counting only because the customer service from the employees is amazing! They are always friendly and ready to help you with whatever you need! I have never had any problems here. On Christmas there was an employee last year who hand wrote happy holidays and put it in all of the customers bags all day. The type of compassion and small talk they provide isn’t found at any other gas station! The people who are saying they are rude and careless probably are the customers who are snobby and assume this place is like a quick trip.”

I ordered takeout 15 minutes before they closed lunch, but they assured me it was no problem. The Tom Kha soup and green curry were delicious and the heat level was exactly as ordered.
