“This is a new Starbucks here in Ames. I love that there is a coffee place on the North side of town now. I have never had any issues with their Coffee. Always friendly service and the best part is they take care of your fur friends as well. That means a lot to me. If you want to make your customers happy, treat their babies like they are gold. There isn't a ton of space in there and it felt a little cluttered. “This place is amazing. We went for dinner on a very busy night. We were seated after only a minute or two, the waiter who was obvious very busy came around not long after with waters. He did an AMAZING job. He was very nice and excellent at his job. The food to a while to get, but only because they make everything to order. It was definitely worth the wait. My parents got pasta, my brother got a HUGE individual pizza and I had a sandwich. Everything was so good. For dessert we had cheesecake and some gelato. The banana chocolate chip was my favorite. We will definitely be back. If your looking for authentic Italian food this is the place to go.”

“Wonderful pub aromas! The food smells great the moment you walk in the door. The Brick City burger which is on special on Thursdays is wonderful and the Shirley Temples are top shelf! Definitely would recommend ear plugs in tow on a weekend as it can get kind of rowdy during the week. Best staff in North Ames!”

Rooftop bar and seating area that is quite nice in the Summer. Prices are in the $12-$15 range but with drinks and apps 2 people could easily exhaust a $60 bill.”

“I wanted to be impressed but the food and presentation were lacking, however if I were just rating the wait staff I'd be giving ten stars. My date ordered a spicy chicken dish with a side of spaghetti, his chicken dish was brimming with grease and slopped in the dish. The spaghetti noodles were a congealed mess and the sauce had no flavor. I order the mushroom risotto and the dish presentation was horrible. It looked like someone took a big spoon and just chucked it in to the dish. The flavor was also very off putting for my taste, perhaps it would appeal to others. Our daughter got the Alfredo and said our homemade sauce from home had more flavor. That being said, if they have the tomato bisque on menu, get it, you will not be disappointed. Atmosphere is great here which made up for the food just a bit, we had a cozy table by the fire which was nice on a cold night. And out waitresses was AMAZING! She had to have been at our table at least 6 times during our meal and she has several large tables she was tending. She remembered every drink, gave my daughter special attention, joked, made recommendations, and was overall an absolute delight. I will definitely go back and try the pizza as I hear it's truly the best thing to order off the menu.”
