“I'm pleased to write this review. The Sports Page is a Unicorn among sports themed establishments. They have managed to create an environment which is welcoming to sports enthusiasts and those who don't want to be blasted by competing sports programs on the televisions. Now, on to the food... They've figured out people actually enjoy good food! My dining companions and I all tried different appetizers and entrees off the menu. (I'm pleased to write they don't have an endless menu which tries to accomplish too much.) All of the items were hot and fresh arriving at our table in a seamless fashion. We had just enough time to enjoy our appetizers before our entrees arrived. Perfection! Our server, while obviously a college student, was proficient and polite, knowing the appropriate times to check back on our party during our meal. Overall, the Sports Page rightfully earned this solid 5 star review for atmosphere, service, and food. I highly recommend it to my friends who are visiting Indianola and those who live here.”

“Found this restaurant on a "Best Diners in Each Iowa County" list, and it did not disappoint! We went on a Sunday afternoon during the church rush, and they promptly served our food. I had Josh's French Dip with a bowl of chili, and both were excellent! Will definitely be returning to this nice, cozy diner.”

“My 5 cheese pasta dish was spectacular! The food is usually what takes us back each time. The service is always iffy. We waited at least five minutes if not more, had two different servers pass our table and then our waitress showed up. My husband ordered a beer from the on tap list and she appeared confused but he got the right order so all was good.”

“Hands down the best pizza in Iowa. I'm not sure what's better; the amazing homemade crust, the icy cold frosty mug of beer, or the hole in the wall atmosphere where everyone know your name. The Rogalla pizza is a MUST TRY! And their cheese bread is out of this world. Truly one of my favorite places.”

“The deli was recommended to me as a great place to get a sandwich, and as an infrequent visitor to Indianola, I had no experience so decided to try it. I noticed immediately that the turkey was real meat, not processed. You seldom see that anymore, so I got a turkey sandwich. The meat was delicious and the bread was really good. I was very impressed. The atmosphere was cordial and friendly and relaxed. I was thanked at time of sale and also upon departure. I would definitely come back!!”

“As for this place, if you prefer to buy pizza and bake it at home, at this place there is a largest family size pizza you can get. There is not any large pizza you can get at any store this size than this place. Their pizza tastes delicious. Try stuffed chicken bacon ranch pizza for example, or other kids of pizza tastes amazing after minutes in your home oven. Love this place.”
