“This place might be my favorite restaurant in town. Delicious food, full of flavor. Cozy atmosphere that seems like a great place for friends to gather. Excellent prices for the portion sizes--my husband and I shared two entrees, and we didn't even come close to finishing them in one meal. We ordered the firfir (left) and the tibs (right), and both were excellent. They can adjust the spice level as you desire, so don't worry about it being too spicy. We also had some delicious coffee while we waited for our food. It's hard to find Ethiopian food in many smaller places, so it's a privilege to have Elilly here in town. Thank you for a great meal! We'll be back.”

“What a fantastic steakhouse environment! Fantastic meal tonight with Prime rib - I ordered a 30oz prime rib and my wife got a 12oz. I enjoy mine rare, while she gets hers medium rare. Something I appreciate is that Fireside knows their steak! Fantastic cut, minimal fat waste, and cooked to perfection for both of our plates. Our waitress, Kelsey, was always checking in on us making sure we were doing good, keeping drinks full, and updated on meal's progress. Our 1 yr old son was flirting with all the waitresses, who continually smiled and interacted with him. We love the small town atmosphere with a big city taste. Well worth the drive from Sioux City or anywhere if you want steak done right!”

“After living in Sergeant Bluff for a good handful of years, I've seen Mexican restaurants, unfortunately, go in and out of here. I must say I'm happy with this one and would like it to stay. I like the effort they've put in the decor and how they brought two spaces together. I've heard their margaritas are good, though I can't say as I don't drink due to meds. My parents and I like eating here. It's our current go-to for Mexican, especially due to the proximity. Good food, great portions (the fajitas themselves could be at least two meals for me!). We just wish the food would be warmer when it came out.”

I called at 9:05 PM to see if I could get a special order ice cream blizzard cake, for unexpected company, early the next day. Krista said absolutely no problem!!!! She would make it up yet that night before she left! I was so relieved and excited! She gave me all of the flavor choices, what was in them, asked me what colors I wanted and personalize it with Congrats, Amy on top for our unexpected celebration! Krista really went above and beyond for me! It’s people like her that make it a great experience! She could have just told me what they had in the cooler and I would’ve had to take one of those. Thank you and kudos to Krista for helping me make our last minute celebration special with a customized blizzard cake!!!!”
