As we got out to the car I heard my name and it was the gentleman that had gave our food to us. El Canelo....THEY can call themselves Mexican food! Chips and salsa were great. Staff was quick and friendly. And street tacos were done right! “This was DELICIOUS! We’ve tried several dozen taco places, but this was by far the favorite. It’s worth going out of your way, but luckily it’s about 3-4 minutes off of US-36. The menu is changed up every two months, which makes each return exciting. We tried all of the combinations for June/July, and I can honestly say there is not a single bad option. There is a nice mix between kid-friendly (even our picky eaters were very happy) and unique. They are also very affordable ($3/taco). I recommend two or three tacos for a solid amount of food, but they’re filling. There is not a ton of seating (about 10 chairs across the bar and two tables), so if you’re a big group, be advised. If you so choose, eating while standing isn’t a challenge at all. It’s easy to carry out – the tacos come in a dish like those for school lunches (if you’re familiar) – but you will likely want a napkin as they don’t skimp on the sauces. The environment is clean and cheerful; a sunflower and happy yellow motif occupy the space. There is parking right outside (non-parallel street parking), and it’s not a super busy street, so parking isn’t a hassle. I’d give it more stars if I could. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ P.S.
