(It was still cheaper than some more simple rooms in Wichita.) It is rustic, quiet. & Clean. Also affordable. The gentleman working down stairs prepping the restaurant even went above and beyond. Helping us when we were leaving behind schedule.”

“I had the 1/3 pound "Blowout" Bacon onion cheeseburger with BBQ sauce and ranch on a pretzel bun all in perfect balance. I am not sure why they call it the blowout, but it was fantastic. I will have to go back and try more! Hopefully soon.”

“We stopped in on June 14 during my walk from El Dorado to Eureka... at about the same time the Bike Across Kansas bikers arrived. They were not phased. Everyone was served in a remarkably quick time. The food was GREAT and very reasonably priced. You can't go wrong stopping here!”

“Finally got to check out the new Lettuce Express in Augusta Ks on state st. And I was so impressed the staff and food were both great! I got some major dental work done today and wanted a good soup and ended up getting two bread bowl soups, baked potato and Mexican tortilla. Both soups were DELICIOUS and the Mexican tortilla is one of my new favorites!!! I will be going back soon to try salads, they also looked good had a variety of fresh veggies and huge helpings with grade prices. Great job all!!!”

“This place has been improved much since I first visited it back in 2015. The staff is polite, welcoming, and makes sure you're always taken care of. The food tastes great! Country fried steak and their own fried pickles are some of my favorites. These guys really know their beers! This is a great place to have a great time while watching some airplanes. “My fiance and I brought our son and friend in to bowl on Saturday night. We had a good time. We had never heard of red pin bowling so that was an unexpected expense, and honestly no one really took the time to explain how it worked to us, luckily we had a gentleman next to us on lane 10 who explained how it worked. My fiance used to bowl league and he did have some complaints about the amount of wax on the lanes (said they were dry, not that i would notice a difference but he sure did) over all it was a good experience, we had fun. Shanna the bartender was fantastic at her job, very friendly and prompt service. She is definitely a keeper!”

“For a small restaurant this place has a lot going for it. When we arrived it was Monday evening at around 430 so there was no one else inside. There were maybe 12 items pictured on the wall you can choose from. I chose the grilled chicken quesadilla. It came with seasoned rice and refried beans. The two employees that were there were extremely nice and accommodating. The food was delicious and I highly recommend going here. I would’ve given five stars but I can’t get five stars to every place that would be redundant. I say that for the very very best.”
