Brick’s Rockin’ BBQ

I've recently been in a BBQ/Smoked meat phase that comes with summer. So upon a suggestion from a coworker I decided to go downtown in Hays Kansas to Brick's Rockin' BBQ. Craving pork ribs for two, I got a full rack which came with two sides, Baked Beans and Baked Corn casserole then added the smoked mac-n-cheese. (Lg) Over all, the meal was good. But, the portions were small, very small for the sides. Embarrassingly I actually called thinking they forgot the corn until I removed the lids seeing one beans and one baked corn. The beans are not my style, pasty with no bacon or onion. The ribs seemed a tad dry but the flavor was good. Actually, all the dishes had the same smoky flavor. I enjoyed the BBQ sauces! Choose between a sweet, smoky and tangy or a spicy hot which I prefer.
The atmosphere was very inviting with a rock-n-roll theme. Well thought out and tastefully decorated. The vintage tin roof was cool as well.
I would give it another try seeing as how I have only tried the ribs. But for the price the sides could be bigger as I didn't come away full.

100% recommend. Food, music decor, and staff are all FIVE Star. My family and I are visiting Kansas for the first time and trying Kansas BBQ was a must for this trip. I chose Brick’s because of the excellent reviews they have received and their music theme. The restaurant has items signed by music legends, instruments, and other treasures on display. The food was AMAZING. We had okra and the poppers to start and then the pick two as our meal. Treat yourself and go to Brick’s.

What a great little BBQ joint to find. It has so much good food I didn't know what to get. But went with the ribs and shared some of the other good that my wife and kids had. All in all very great place to get some bbq.

Absolutely delicious barbecue. The sauces are great. I normally can't eat too much but everything here was so good I almost couldn't stop! Try the Chocolate Lasagna - it's an interesting dessert. Brick's is definitely deserving of your business. A little pricier, but genuinely worth it. I'd come back in a heartbeat. Also, the service was incredible and friendly.
