Defiance Brewing Co. Downtown

Traveling a lot for work, I was looking for a local spot for a decent pizza and good beer. This place definitely fit the spot. The brick oven pizza was delicious and the beer was just as good and priced very reasonably! Wasn't able to check out the patio area but looks like it will be a lot of fun. Very clean and comfy but seems like they are still figuring out their aesthetic/vibe. Definitely will come back whenever I stop here. Only downside (for some people) would be having to get up and order a beer instead of having waitstaff but totally understandable when it's a small location during the middle of the week!

First time visiting. Owner is super helpful & friendly. Very clean. They have different pizza options. But no Supreme. Can build your own but they didn't have green peppers? They have other food options.....burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries. Will try again for sure. Order PB & J stout beer. Amazingly good! Love that you can find food & drink here you won't find anywhere else. Will go back when patio is finished at the Fort!

Excellent service at lunch, no wait. I had down the hatch burger with seasoned fries. But was perfect and burger was very good. Everything fresh and hot. Music at a good volunteer for conversations and lighting just right for daytime.

I had five of their tasters (a self-made flight of beers) and none disappointed. The Down The Hatch Burger looked kind of plain but it was so good! Incredibly good! Friendly staff greeted every person who came in very enthusiastically.

Nicely redone interior. Friendly counter help. Pizza's are good as are the loaded fries. The hot chicken tender sandwich is HOT. The heat sneaks up on you. Self serve fountain drinks with two of their specialty brewed soft drinks available. Has a separate dining area for private parties.
