“Jax is my new FAVORITE place in town! The crowd is VERY diverse. During happy hour, there are a bunch of "old timers" saddled up at the bar. For dinner, it's locals and the dinner specials are amazing – on Friday they have a $19 ribeye. After hours, it transforms into a dance club playing everything from country to hip hop to Latino música. The staff is super friendly too, especially Reghan, Bre, Jonathan, & Chad. “We were looking for dinner options after church Saturday night and decided to give the new Mexican restaurant a try. Being our first time there, we were unsure what to order. The gentleman who was taking our order (who happened to be the owner) was very patient with us and made some excellent recommendations. We ended up getting the chicken fiesta bowl, burrito mojado, and cocktel camaron y pulpo. The presentation was very impressive and the taste was phenomenal! The salsa and green chili sauces were both quite spicy (but we had been warned the green chili sauce was spicy). Overall it was a great dining experience and will definitely be returning!”

“Food was delicious. We would eat there again. Took us a bit to get waited on but there was only 1 waitress and they are hiring. The owner came out to help her and 2 others waitresses showed up while we were there. Nice place. We had eaten there under different owner and restaurant name but the food is very similar they add a little spritz of lime on some of the garnish which was a flavorful idea. Very nice place and clean and the people are friendly. I think they were just caught a little off guard which we all know can happen. Experience ended good. Would recommend to anyone.”

He’s super nice and seems excited about his new business. My wife got the quesobirria, I got the birria burger with fries and we split the birria ramen. The quesobirria tacos are fantastic. The burger was a good size and has tons of flavor, I especially liked the toasted bun. The ramen was a pretty big serving with big taste. There were big chunks of meat and the consumee was full of meaty flavor. If you have a chance, swing by and check this place out.”

“We had breakfast at this place today. I had the scrambled eggs with bacon and some coffee. My husband had the “huevos rancheros”. The food was very good. The green salsa on the eggs was spicy, but delicious. Their coffee was fresh and the chips were freshly made as well. The service was prompt and friendly. I would recommend to be patient when visiting, as it is a family run business and there were two people working. It wasn’t a problem as we were the first ones in and got our food quickly. The business is clean, they offer a varied menu of Mexican food, beers and desserts. They even offer tres leches cakes by the tray for events. They also have an area for semis to park, just west of the business. Their breakfast starts at eight am and can be ordered all day. Give this place a try, we really enjoyed it.”

“I haven't eaten here since I was a kid. I ordered the lime freeze and was transported back to my youth. The 1950s atmosphere is exactly what you'd want it to be in a eatery like this. The prices are fair and the selection widespread. I'd thoroughly recommend stopping by here. Next time, I'm ordering a lemon shake. Update, I went back and ordered the lemon shake. Perfection. I also ordered the Chubby Checker. That paired nicely with the shake.”
