Great atmosphere. Tables were full (of course, it was a KU game night) but we sat at the bar..no wait. During happy hour I had two brews that were delicious- $4 a pint. 8 inch pizza hit the spot and a pretzel with cheese sauce. The bar staff were amazing.. on top of everything and worked their #$#$& off. Happy hour had great prices. Lots of beer selections. We walked over from the Hyatt.. short walk. Highly recommended.

Happy to find a place near our home to enjoy a good pizza. It was our first time just me and my wife. Will bring the kids on another occasion.
We had the tuna tartar as appetizer. It was good.
The pizzas were awesome. I would just order a side of oregano next time. And more arugula please!!
The best thing is the gluten free option which had a great taste and nothing to envy a normal wheat based crust.
We had the Supremo Pizza and the Fig & Prosciutto. Totally recommended.
    See you again!

Service was *phenomenal*. April truly provided some of the best service I've ever had. And we didn't even tell her it was my birthday!

Beer selection was OK. Would've been fun to see some higher-gravity stuff on the menu (still holding out hope for Kentucky Friar to come back!). I was pretty disappointed by the Double Berry Sour. The beer I enjoyed most was the guest tap - Founder's Porter.

Pretzel sticks were way too salty. The mustard was also *extremely* salty. I have never had mustard that repulsed me with saltiness before, but I guess I can cross that off the list. My heart was pounding and my veins were bulging out of my hands for the rest of the night.

The highlight of the meal was the house salad. Which I feel is telling, but it was really good. Excellent balance of flavors, not smothered in dressing.

Pizza was... strange. The toppings tasted good but were applied very sparingly. It was as if there was twice as much crust or 1/2 the right amount of toppings. SO dry and bready. I asked for more marinara sauce just so I could chew & swallow it. The leftovers we took home and threw in the toaster oven with about another ounce of cheese per slice and it was about right. Based on that pizza, if I ordered again I would ask for extra sauce, extra cheese, and extra toppings.

We've had MCBC pizza several times over the years (in Martin City and Mission Farms) and have always enjoyed it. I'm not sure if this is a shrinkflation situation or a mistake, but it was not great. Honestly, not teasing or exaggerating, the closest pizza I've had to this is QuikTrip. Which isn't awful, but it's in a very different class from what I've come to expect from MCBC.

The beer-a-misu we got to go and it was pretty fantastic. I can wholeheartedly recommend that!

So, overall, amazing service, OK beer, good salad & dessert, sad pizza & apps. I'm sure I'll go back but it's probably going to be a minute.

Lively brewpub to enjoy some drinks, appetizers, and pizza. Seemed pretty busy on our weeknight visit, but we got a table nearly right away. MCBC's beers are worth a try, and the Sangria is a safe bet. The food was filling! Pizza crust is medium/medium-thick, edges good for dipping into a side of sauce, and the Sausage & Peppers pizza had decent but not stand-out flavor. Enjoyed the full House Salad split with my dining companion. The space had the full din of music, chatter, and restaurant bustle, which made table conversation a little challenging but fine. Screens around the space had various sports on. The staff was kind and busy working their tails off, and our server was charmingly peppy and attentive.
