China Rose Chinese Restaurant

Went to the China Rose for lunch and ate in the restaurant. Needs some TLC but if you can get passed that and where it is situated give it a go. The staff were very friendly and happy and helpful. Now for the food...I walked out full and with a takeaway dish as well. Food was full of flavour and plentiful. Plenty of choice on the menu which made it hard to choose. Would eat there again if in the area. Enjoy.

Easy online ordering, variety of classic items, similar pricing to comparable restaurants. The food was ready when I got there to pickup. Still steaming hot & fresh when we got home. Five stars for all of that.

I gave only 4 stars because the food just isn't great. It's not bad by any means, so this is nothing against the kitchen or restaurant as a whole. I prefer a different taste. I think everything was just a little too sweet for me. This is the second time we've eaten here, and both experiences were similar.

During this trying time it has been hard to find great Chinese food that is open for service. Today we tried China Rose and were thrilled. Their reviews were great but even better were the other customers waiting for their takeout. Everyone waiting was a return customer and all told me that it is best food - ever! My daughter and I got General Tso's Chicken and beef fried rice. Both were phenomenal with amazing flavor. The portions are generous and we are looking at our calendar for our next trip there.

Best Chinese near 95th Street. Also, good bang for your buck

Excellent food! Very nice and clean restaurant. They have a busy lunch crowd and it can be hard to find a place to park. They do carry out but no delivery. Everything I ate was excellent. I had the beef with green bean lunch special it came with fried rice, soup and choice of rangoon or eggroll for $7.15 after tax.
I highly recommend this place.
