Fireside BBQ & Bar

I had seen this place in Overland Park and decided to try it for lunch last week. I tried the Fire Chief sandwich after being told it was the most popular item on the menu. It had a nice flavor and was a combination of pulled pork, burnt ends, and rib meat. They had three different BBQ sauces and I enjoyed the original and the "puppy love" versions that I tried. The only thing I did not like was the sandwich came with BBQ already on it. I prefer to have dry BBQ and then be able to select my own sauce to put on. Since they have very good sauces, I'll ask if the sandwich can come out without sauce on it.

Love love love the smoked chicken wings. The sandwiches I’ve had here are also very good! Awesome place for some good barbecue.

Great food. Went for first time during the beginning stages of the Covid-19 pandemic---food was great, but understandably menu is limited in choices. They have used creativity to host bands who will play outside and people can sit in their cars, order food, listen to the music via FM radio transmitter. One of the best places to get out of the house, enjoy good food and music; all while socially distancing at the same time.

First time in and not disappointed. I got the jumbo Brisket Sandwich and I can't complain, it was pretty dang good. The sauce wasn't the best but it wasn't bad. My girlfriend got a turkey sandwich and it looked good and she said it was good. Sweet potato fries were really good as well, it comes with syrup that is surprisingly really good. They have a daily special and supposedly they have really good food/drink specials for football games too. Overall I would recommend it and I'll come back.

PERFECT! We shared the smoked buffalo wings, 2 sandwiches, steak fries and baked beans. The food was delicious! The service was nice and attentive. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable with nice furnishings. I'm certain I'll be a regular!
