Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ

We just ate there for a birthday dinner. Got the "Appreciation" set meal. $75 for 2 people. The food literally kept coming and coming! All very good and full of flavor. There were some items we decided that we could do without, but this was a super way to try many tasty items. The basil chicken breast was so juicy! Loved all of the sauces, too. The service was outstanding. The whole experience was well worth the $$. We had a party of 6. And our suggestion would be to have either 2 round or one long hibachi grill. 6 people around one round grill was a bit tight. Love this place and will definitely return!????????

Great new addition to the area. Tasty cuts of meat cooked over your own table grill. What could be better? Very vibrant, busy and frenetic, with staff going every which way. We ate on the last night of soft opening so I suspect service is still developing and improving. Regardless our experience was favorable. Varied menu and taste was refreshing.

Excellent experience, especially for their soft opening! Get their meal for two and you get a good sampling of various appetizer and meats. Get in and check this place out (make a reservation)! Definitely looking forward to their full menu.

This is probably my new favorite Japanese restaurant in the KC area. The food was amazing and is reasonably priced, especially for the amount of food you get. The staff was super friendly and gave great explanations on how to cook the food. Also was a super fun date night. Can’t wait to go again!

Very fun experience. By far the most authentic japanese restaurant in town, while still catering to a wide variety of tastes. Lots of options, great service, fun experience, good food. Highly recommend. Let's keep this place in OP! Loved that they greeted you with a "welcome" in Japanese and thanked you in Japanese when you leave. Made me feel like I was in Japan again ????
