JINYA Ramen Bar - Overland Park

I've been looking forward to trying Jinya for a few months now, finally made the trek out this way to give it a try. Ordered the pork bun and a spicy chicken ramen. The pork bun was very underwhelming, with heavy globs on Mayo and an extremely fatty (nearly inedible) piece of pork. I was very disappointed. Then the ramen came. Boy oh boy that ramen was special. The brother had the perfect complexity of flavors to keep you wanting more, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the chicken was incredibly tender. The ambiance was lovely and I will be back. Pass up the pork bun

The food was incredible as usual. My partner and I had the most amazing time. Emma was exceptional. She had amazing recommendations, engaged in fun conversation with us and made our time here so memorable and fun. She's fabulous

Cute place! The inside decor is nice, mural is cool. We sat outside since it was nice. I’m glad they had that option! Got the seaweed salad, which they skimped out on. They put normal green salad underneath instead of just filling the whole plate with seaweed salad which made it feel like they were skimping out on just giving more seaweed salad 🥗 . That was disappointing. Got the Tonkatsu black since it had all the fixings 🍜. It tasted pretty good. Wasn’t the most flavorful thing I’ve tasted but it was satisfying and the perfect portion to not be overly stuffed. Overall pretty good place. 👍

First time EVER eating home-made ramen, son just got teeth pulled and needed something soft so here we were and 10/10 would recommend! The owners are so nice and quick to help you understand everything on the menu if your beginners like we were and also had chopstick holders for kiddos! The food was better than I had ever imagined, definitely will be coming back!
