I feel like Panera's bread is mediocre, similar to other chain sandwich/bread restaurants. Prefer to go to small local bread shops when possible; but Panera is a great backup option. Loved my Lemon Drop cookie!!!

The employees are friendly, the restaurant is always very clean no matter how busy, the atmosphere is warm and inviting (I love that they have a fireplace in the smaller room with armchairs near the entrance), and they even offer raw sugar packets as an option -- Most restaurants only offer white sugar or sugar substitutes. The menu is great and I love that Panera uses only natural ingredients. Great choice whether you want breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a coffee break.
