Papa Kenos Pizzeria

I recently ate at Papa Kenos and I think it is my new favorite pizza restaurant! The cheese was phenomenal as were the other pizzas we ordered. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a great tasting pizza.

We found this place online. It seemed like the prices were a bit high, but still cheaper than Minsky's. We gave it a shot. The pizzas are huge. The large is 18" It is more pizza per dollar than I think any restaurant offers. Add to that. It is VERY good pizza. The toppings are piled on and the pizza itself has that soft, yet crunchy bite you expect from a really good pizza. These folks know what they are doing. One tip. The pizza doesn't microwave well the day after. Brings it down to pizza hut level. Broil it in the oven or grease a skillet to warm it up. One gripe though. Their meatballs are fantastic. They need to boil some spaghetti. I guarantee if you offered spaghetti and meatballs, at almost any price. The kids are going to be in heaven and the parents will get to order a good specialty pizza. Instead of us all having to share a cheese and a pepperoni pizza. All that said. Best pizza in town. After today, our first time out since the pandemic. The pizza is 10x better straight out of the oven. Compared to a 5 minute ride in a cardboard box home. You have to try this place out. It's fantastic.

First time here. Pizza, THE DENVER, WAS TASTY. COULD USE MORE CHEESE. Chunky veggies, Crispy Crust, great flavor. Cold beer.
The inside has been updated very nicely. Order at counter. Will return for sure.

I was so excited when I found out that Papa Keno's add a location in Southern Overland Park. Buy-by-the-slice pizza joints should exist everywhere. This place has a plethora of topping options; their pepperoni is the best. The area is brand spanking new and immaculately clean. There is a variety of seating options. The service was good. Local restaurants always seem to have outstanding customer service, and that's no different here. Nothing beats the original, but the pizza is still good!

My family of 3 has ordered Papa Kenos a few times now--it has become a family favorite. For basically $7 to $9 per person, everyone gets exactly the pizza they want. Don't be fooled by the "single slice" thing! It's a huge piece of pizza cut into pieces. We get 2 meals out of each "slice".

The staff has always been super friendly, too. I dare you to walk in, smell the pizza baking, and not want some!

Also want to give 5 stars for the fast, easy-to-use, online order "app" on their website. We just start with the "Build your own" basic slice then pick the toppings we want. No-hassle ordering!
