Best atmosphere with authentic western decorations that capture the flint hills in the early 1900's. The staff is remarkable along with the chef. Definitely recommend Flatbread pizza, it comes with a Signature sauce that will leave you craving more. Restaurant is very well laid out and also easily accessible for folks in wheelchairs.

We saw the five-star reviews on Google. Stopped for late lunch on our way to a Gideon State cabinet meeting. The staff couldn't have been more courteous.
The food couldn't have been better. We told her it was our anniversary this weekend and we wanted to come back. They lavished us with an extra free dessert and a sparkling fountain at the table. Great food at reasonable prices.Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!

This place doesn't deserve five stars.... THEY DESERVE AN INFINITE AMOUNT OF STARS! As a trucker, I've been to many, and I mean many little "hole-in-the-wall" shops across this county. Nothing pales in comparison to Brandin' Iron! The inside of this place just makes you feel as if you're in the old midwest. Service was beyond great! And the food.... I can't even describe how good, how delicious, how amazing it was! Well, I could, but Google might take down my review. 😆 I will definitely be back here again!!!

The spacious and welcoming restaurant is on the first floor of a grand 1884 three-story native limestone Opera House. Windmill blades rotating slowly on the high ceiling add to the charm and history of this delightfully fun restaurant. A great menu, a full bar, and a witty/enjoyable wait staff all combined to provide an experience well worth the drive to this 151-year old former railroad town at the junction of US 50 & US 77. Our table enjoyed the Steak and Blue Salad; the Apple and Cranberry Salad with grilled chicken, pecans and herbed goat cheese; and burgers served with fries and an especially delicious house-made pasta salad. We will return! Check out the limestone houses on 8th Street.

I was visiting family from out of town & they took us here! Great place. Historic building is awesome! Decorations are also very impressive! Quite a large choice of menu options. The staff was super friendly & the food was good! Definitely give it a try!
