Green Mill Restaurant & Bar

On 2/23/2020. My dad, daughter, and myself came in to eat breakfast and did not realize it was 5 minutes before 11 Am and the restaurant was about to close. The wait staff welcomed us and insisted it was OK for us to stay and eat. They were friendly and offered us the buffet or menu's and did not make us feel rushed even though it was now past closing time. The girls were very friendly and welcoming. We have always had a great experience at this location and the Pizza is one of the best in Wichita.

Fantastic customer service experience! We've eaten the deep dish pizza here before and enjoyed it, but our diet has changed and so we looked at the menu online and were happy to see they had added an impossible beef option! We called to order a pizza, but found out they had just sold out their supply of impossible beef.
However, Andrew, the gentleman taking our order, suggested that if that's what we wanted her could get to the store if we didn't mind the wait. And so that's what we did. He got what we wanted and called us back to let us know when it would be ready for pick up. He never acted as if it was any kind of imposition. The pizza was very good but our joy at being so well taken care of is even better!

Food taste excellent staff was prompt and friendly. I ordered the healthy(bunless) burger and sweet potato fries. So good. Only 4 stars because my Jameson and ginger ale was very weak. Next time I grab a glass of wine instead.

Green Mill. First visit in over 10 years. We ordered the pizza rolls as an appetizer. They were more like fried wontons than the pizza rolls that may come to mind. For meal i Tried the deep dish Chicago style pizza. It came out and was not cooked all the way in the middle. The cheese was not melted at all in the middle. The server promptly took back to oven for about five more minutes. Pizza returned with cheese mostly melted. It was not hot in the center at all just luke warm the pizza requires a 30-35 minute wait which I was fine with ..I just think they need a better way to ensure the pizza cooks thoroughly inside and out without burning the crust. Overall the service was decent. Might return again

The bruschetta appetizer was wonderful. The deep dish pizza was nasty. Took way to long to make. The crust was thin and over cooked, above the pizza part. The pizza tasted like can tomato sauce. If you go, I would recommend skipping the pizza.

For an appetizers we had the bruschetta again. Still amazing. Tried the friend cheese curds. Good and plenty to share. Lobster Mac and cheese bland, should be tasted. Also could use more lobster. Seafood linguine was very good and the scallops were not over cooked. The double burger was good. The Italian sandwich was also good. I would prefer more seasoning. Service was attentive. Teased my son(6'4') about not finishing the burger. Overall, come and try. The menu is varied. Much better this trip.
