Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar

Today was our first time here! The hostess staff were friendly and accommodating! Our server Martin did a fantastic job for being both a server and the only bartender…. Doing double duty kept him busy but he was attentive to us and the other table I saw him serving. The food was great although a little pricey for the serving size— potatoes and corn could be given more generously without too much expense. The add on sausage was more that plentiful!!! And your “special garlic butter”. FANTASTIC!!!! We will be back! Take care of Martin… double duty is hard!

My son's and my best friend brought me in for my birthday. We each had different versions of the boils. All the food was excellent. Great flavor and fresh. Service was excellent. Server answered any questions and never let our drinks run dry. We will be coming back. Looking forward to this place being around for a long time

We asked the Lady from Red Roof Hotel where a good seafood restaurant was.
Said she took her mother to the new Hook n Reel Cajun for her birthday.
They was amazed at how good it was.
So Mark & I decided what the heck we'd try it. Oh my.... if you want GREAT SEAFOOD, be it fish, clams,
Shrimp, lobster, crab legs ETC & be it in cajin, garlic butter or one of their other awesome sauces. It was AWESOME. They have several single baskets approximately 15.00 or bigger ones like THE PERFECT STORM (which is what we got) it was 51.00...BUT... LOOK AT WHAT ALL YOU GET BEFORE YOU SCREAM ABOUT THE PRICES. The hush puppies were great, as well as the garlic sticks. Could easily feed 2 or more pieces. The corn & potatoes were the softest and flavourful taste I've tasted. YES, I'LL GIVE IT A 5 AND RECOMMEND IT TO ANY SEAFOOD LOVER. Everything was steaming hot too. Great adventure at the hook & Reel !!! TRY IT, it's worth the catch !!!

I came here with an open mind wanting to support a new opening business and I am very ecstatic about my visit!
I am very critical of customer service and especially when it comes to food, I mean who isn’t? However, I also take into consideration a lot of factors that are overlooked and attempt to give the establishment the benefit of the doubt if possible.
After reading the shade about people coming here and not getting the service they want. I mean what do you expect? It’s a brand new restaurant, trying to figure out its operations and obviously they want to perform and create an experience worth having again.
To me, they earned that. I was met by a friendly welcoming staff at opening and told us it would take a few minutes to be seated because they were figuring out some staff issues. No big deal.
After being seated we were met by Jocelyn, a friendly and happy waitress who genuinely liked serving our table. She didn’t make a single mistake and ensured we were taken care of. Thanks Jocelyn!
I would say if you want something different around here, give Hook and Reel a shot. I love Seafood and they pleased my palate for sure!

My son took me here on Mother's day. Wonderful atmosphere & friendly staff. Especially our waiter Shawn, He was great! Jolly, sweet soul. Great food! Yes the wait to get seated was long but not bad for Mother's day. "Good things come to those who wait". Ya'll could put more wait seating up front, a dock bench between 2 of them barrels. Thanks! Were already planning our next visit.
