The Beacon Restaurant

If you want old town nostalgia that is a part of Wichita, then this is it. The food was great & the service was quick. They had the best tasting hash browns that I have ever had. The coffee was stout & good, my only complaint is she never filled my cup back up.

Where to start... I didn't get the name of our waitress, but she was absolutely the best waitress I've ever met!! Such a wholesome, beautiful woman! She congratulated my fiance and I on our pregnancy, she sang me happy birthday, and was so prompt to make sure we were doing okay!! We will DEFINITELY be coming here more!! Thank you for restoring my faith in wait staff!! I've never had such an amazing experience anywhere else!

Seriously, this is the best breakfast in all of Wichita.
Family eating, comfort food, nice atmosphere, and friendly service - this place has it all.

For anyone traveling through Wichita, if you can only visit one restaurant while you are here, this is the place to come.

Parking is tight and the place is always packed, but any inconvenience you run into is worth it!

It was pretty good. I had the Breakfast Cheizzo Burrito and it was worth it for the price. Everyone enjoyed their food and the orders came out relatively quickly got our larger group. The hash was cold though and not crisp. Bathrooms a little run down, they had great service. Would go back.
