Family owned Chinese food. Their dumplings are great on the weekends. They are a traditional on the cart and you select the various kinds you want.
Went for dim sum brunch. Nice wait staff very good dim sum. They could update their checkout system because that took a while but I think they like it old school there.
They should offer rice like they do tea, without asking.
I think they should serve red bean buns (dou sha bao) cuz I'd come every week
The food here was great. We are from Texas and when I asked around for a good Chinese place everybody was telling me Panda Express. Ummm no I’ll take Tom’s Lotus Garden any day! The only thing that I felt could use more flavor was the lo mein noodles. We also got steamed dumplings, general Tao’s, fried rice, kung pao chicken very spicy but good, egg rolls, beef and broccoli very tender, and sweet and sour chicken. Everything was great! Thanks guys!
Ordered carry out 30 min in advance. Pork and a side of fried rice, $14 and some change. Easily enough food for two meals which was my hope and intention. Employee who took my order over the phone was nice as can be and served me my order with pep in his step and a smile on his face . My order was hot and ready when I arrived. Seems like honest people trying to make an honest living . I will be going back.
Have been going to Tom's Lotus Garden for four years and counting now. On my last visit this month, I am surprised at how empty and quiet the restaurant was. It was dinner time and the only tables occupied are just us and another two.
Shocked by the revelation, I was wondering if this is because of a simple issue of Yelp and Apple Map showing the restaurant was permanently closed. Or I was thinking the food quality have been going downhill.
However, the foods were fantastic and I had fabulous evening. I ordered thirteen dimsum plates and steamed fish. The foods came out exactly how I expected them and in appropriate amount of time.
I hope to see the Tom's Lotus Garden that I visited first four years ago. It has been— and is a fantastic restaurant. If anyone is looking for a great Chinese restaurant, you will not be disappointed at Tom's Lotus Garden.
