The food was outstanding! The meat, the sauce and the sides are 5 stars. Also had the Cheesecake in the jar and it was amazing.

Outstanding, authentic, delicious food served up in generous portions. We had Jerk Chicken, Catfish and Smoked Sausage link with the Spicy Slaw - all were incredible. Come on out and support this hard workin' family slingin' the real deal in blazing hot Topeka.

Most usually you are guaranteed to get delicious tender juicy meat. They must of been having a off day yesterday when we went. The meat was pack with flavor but it was not tender. Was a tad disappointed.

Be sure you have your appetite and bib; this place knows how to smoke meat! I got the turkey leg, naturally massive and falling off the bone, with cheesy potatoes (should be called loaded with how cheesy they were) and corn bread (lightly sweet and fluffy), all of it was delicious! Their barbecue sauce is a little sweet and a little spicy, just where it should be. Definitely will be having this again!
