The line was ridiculously long, but our order was put together quickly once it was taken, the food was hot, and the order was correct.
Day two of being open. I think everyone from southeast Kentucky and northeast Tennessee is here. They are keeping up pretty good with all things considered. Just like any other Rally’s I’ve been to. It’s nice to see some options for food around here.
Where to start? I happened to be in Middlesboro visiting my brother-in-law/sister-in-law for a short time on our way to Florida. "Rally's is opening today," says my brother-in-law. I would be ashamed of myself if I had been in Middlesboro the day of the grand opening of Rally's but didn't go! So we hopped on a couple bikes and rode across town.
Upon arriving, we were greeted by a friendly employee, who took our orders promptly and nicely. I had no choice but to order the triple Baconzilla and the fry lover's XL. I was initially given the fry lover's burger at first, but they quickly brought out my fries after I let them know. I have no problem with incorrect orders due to the fact that you generally end up with free food. The baconzilla tasted great and is comparable in price to other chains' large bacon burgers.
I will never forget this day and can't wait to read about it in my childrens' and grandchildrens' history books!
