BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

We love BJ's in Florence. I give it four stars instead of five only because, while our server was awesome, the food and drinks took a while and the host staff wasn't so friendly. But definitely worth going - super good!

If you're looking for a place with a different type of menu, BJ's Brewhouse might be the place you're looking for. They have a great selection of dinner salads and lunch menu items. Big selection of soups and sandwiches, burgers, but one of my favorites is the twin bone-in pork chop available after 4. Tender and juicy and flavored with the Brewhouses signature spices. It is very good. The restaurant has very comfortable surroundings and the seating comfortable as well with huge booths. They also have a very wide beer selection for their own Private Stock of beer but it feels more like a restaurant than a bar which is what I'm sure the intention was. My only negatives were ,first it was a little pricey, but maybe that is expected with such a varied menu and second of all they were busy that night service was not what I expected it should be, our server was very rushed. She laid down the basics, brought out the food and that was about it, although our drinks were refilled when she saw they were empty. I would go again but I will review the menu before I go make sure I know what I'm going to get since it's so large and I will make sure it's not on a busy night hopefully to get better service.

Allison is the best bartender I have ever had!!! She is very responsive, friendly, and down to earth. We never had to wait for a drink or food, and we stayed later than expected just to hang out. The beers were fantastic. Great place!

This was the first time my family has been here and the food was very good. Our waitress was on top of everything, she had refills out before our glasses were half empty. We will definitely be back.

I love this restaurant for the abundance of unique and creative food dishes. I always try something new and thoroughly enjoy every single dish I have tried. The servers are quick and always very efficient. The atmosphere is perfect for families, date nights, meeting with colleagues, lunches, late dinners, or a quick drink. Always a pleasant experience. I recommend the avocado egg roll.
