BEST. BRUNCH. EVER!!! I've been here three times now and food is always incredible.
Fresh ingredients are staples and everything that can be homemade is. Owners and staff are super friendly. Atmosphere is open and lively.
Super friendly staff and scrumptious menu. Don't miss out on the Italian donuts or specialty coffees! Can't wait to go back!
Older but remodeled building, very pleasant atmosphere, convenient parking, safe neighborhood. I suggest you dress up a little. Sloppy casual would not fit in. Reservations suggested. Crowd was eclectic, ranging from children to little old ladies, skewing toward a hip young adult demographic. The menu was brunch oriented and delicious. Portions not too big but just right. We took home a loaf of sour dough bread and some cookies, all baked on site.
This is what Newport needs!! Their food and drinks are creative and delicious! I haven't had their brunch yet but have gone to a few of their wine and flight events and the food has always been phenomenal. Definitely take a chance and try an item that you think you may not like (like beet hummus) and prepare to be pleasantly surprised! I really hope they start doing dinner service because Newport seriously lacks this type of quality food and it is definitely needed.
Charming character and cozy atmosphere. The service was fantastic although the server left me with an empty drink for quite some time. The reason for 3 stars, the food and drinks were average at best. I had the sweet potato hash, a donut with lemon curd, a blood orange, and grapefruit mimosa. This was easily something I could have made at home and made it better and I’m not a great cook by any means. The hash had good flavor but it was mostly sweet potato. I paid $13 for a sweet potatoes and egg. The donut reminded me of the donuts my dad made for us when we were little. You know the biscuit donuts you cut out the center with a bottle cap. Deep fry them and dip them in sugar and cinnamon. The lemon curd was pretty tasty. Honesty not sure if i’ll Be back for anything other than drinks. Love having a new restaurant nearby but it just didn’t my meet my expectations.
