Original Zomato Review 8/8/15 - Our first trip to Graze. The drive out was very scenic--the land, farms, livestock, etc. I'd like to live out there. The building looks to be an old country store--so, not a lot of seating but every table is quaint (there's also some patio seating).

Graze doesn't have menus as it changes frequently--the menu is written on the blackboard. This evening's menu was bolognese, prime rib, curry, and pork tenderloin. I chose the prime rib--on a plate of green beans, young potatoes, and mushrooms in a wine demi-glace. The salad was spring greens in a blueberry vinaigrette. I'm not a fan of typical prime rib (medium floating in a blood juice), but the chef cooked it more medium well (peppered quite well) and topped it with sauteed mushrooms and demi-glace. It was delicious. The green beans had a faint sweet taste from being so young off the vine.

We ordered a dessert to share , a pineapple sheet cake with brown sugar glaze and fresh coconut. I would have loved to taste the cake slightly warm, but it was good as served.

Everything was very good--one of the better spots in Lexington. The only suggestions I have are: (1) serve some bread and (2) it would have been nice for the chef to come around to the guests to offer a bit of differentiation and personality to the experience.

Excellent food, excellent location, and excellent service. This is a hidden gem...and that’s okay.

Meat and cheese board was good, but the stars were the main and dessert. Coconut curry with the bananas was outstanding; savory curry works well with the sweet banana. The upside down peach cake was light and moist.

The panna cotta was out of this world; my favorite item for the night. Light and creamy with just the right amount of lemon. The raspberries were not too sweet and complemented the lemon.

Service was friendly and the decor was clean but elegant. Wine selections were also spot on. Definitely coming back when I’m in town.
