“Stopped in for a brisket sandwich and a beer. I ordered the granny smith slaw and green beans for sides. The lady that took my order was very nice, easily took a coupon I had on my phone for my birthday(thanks). Took a few extra minutes to come out, and it was worth the wait. The slaw was sweet and tart, not too runny or too dry. Green beans were a little peppery but still cooked well with great flavor. The brisket was juicy and smokey. The bun was super soft, added a little bit of their bourbon bbq sauce and it was one of the best brisket sandwiches I've had in a long time. For less than $15(without coupon) I had a great sandwich two sides and a Kentucky ale.”

“I loved this place! It was great food! We were staying at the Lexington Hamburg Holiday Inn close by and we chose Saul Good Restaurant & Pub because it was a local place - we like to choose places we don't have at home so that we can get a feel for the true city or town. Our server was so very nice and friendly with true southern charm. We heard Lexington was known for their beef so tried the rib eye and coming from Chicago where there are great restaurants I can tell you the taste of this steak was better than I ever had in a restaurant. It was cooked just as I ordered it. We also decided to try a Southern dish of Shrimp and Grits. Again, it was the best Shrimp and Grits I ever had. I admit I haven't had it very many times in my life but I can't believe there would be any better. For dessert we ordered the Donut Pudding and it was a large portion and very delicious. I wish we could visit this place more often but we were visiting. Will definitely look for it if I return to Lexington. The place had good ambience inside like a bar and grill should and also there was an outdoor patio if you prefer. Check my photos.”

“Food was amazing. There was one guy there tonight who had provided OUTSTANDING service. We got our food before salads and breadsticks which was kinda a bummer. Also ordered a to go order and waited thirty six minutes to get it. Then they brought it out on a plate instead of a box. Employee had us transfer it into a box at the table. Then we asked for a bag. Sat and waited no bag. So we grabbed our food went to the counter and asked yet again for a bag the employee (a different one) acted like it killed her to get us a bag. I wish I knew the guys name who waited on us. I would love to be able to properly recognize him. Food was good and hot and place was clean. The wait times were terrible though and a few things during the visit irked my nerves but over all just because of that ONE employee I rate it a 5.”

“Its a great place to dine if you love seafood. The wait time before being seated was very short. Employees seemed to know what they are doing and they do it well. “Almost great time for our anniversary. It was our first time here. It started out good. Decent selection of drinks, several menus to order from, TVs to watch sports in all directions, patio open with a nice breeze. Got our food, the Kobe beef burger was great. Then our waitress totally ignored us. We sat there for easily 20 to 30 minutes watching her go to every other table near us refilling drinks and checking on customers. We never got refills and had to flag her down like a taxi. Otherwise it was a good place to eat”

“I have always been a big fan of Gold Star Chili. It was even my first part time job at 14 years old. So I have quite a deep understanding of how this restaurant works and how it should work. I can say with great confidence that every time I have visited this particular Gold Star Chili that they have been very fast to get my food prepared, and that their product was of the highest quality and taste of any Gold Star that I have ever visited. I have worked at three different locations, and I have eaten at this restaurant in at least four different states and at least 20 different locations. I can certainly say that this location has been consistently the best for service and quality and cleanliness of any of the locations I have ever visited. I have, in fact, NEVER had a bad experience or sub-par food given to me at this location. I have eaten here over the course of probably at least ten years or longer...since it opened, and even though employees have obviously come and gone, it is obvious to me that whoever runs this establishment demands the highest level of quality and professionalism from their employees and does a terrific job of translating that into a consistently terrific dining experiences over the many years I have been going there. Props to whoever is in charge at this restaurant! Keep doing what you've always done! And if you, like me, love Gold Star Chili, you can't possibly go wrong by choosing to eat at this particular location.”

“WOW!! The cashier was super polite and honest when I asked about the clam chowder. I asked if it was good and he said he was allergic to shellfish so he hadn't tried it. I really appreciate that honesty. I ordered it and yes it was warm and filling. The roast beef sandwich and all of our food was so tasty !!! “Good Thai place on Winchester Road. Colorful atmosphere and friendly staff. Decent chicken satay and good fried calamari. I had the yellow curry with shrimp. The cashews were a bit much and the curry was a bit too watery despite what the waitress said. Otherwise, it smelled and tasted good. The pad see ew was tasty. I discovered this place due to their food truck at the Lexington BBQ Fest. My boyfriend and I had the sampler of 1 chicken satay, 1 Thai pork taco, 3 chicken wings, and a side of mixed rice and veggies. Best food at the festival! I wish they had those items at the restaurant.”

“Lots to see (and buy, if compelled) at the Farm Market Mexican restaurant. I only had the tacos, beans and rice and it was all good, but didn't blow me away. The salsa (medium and hot) was good not great. All the food was authentic, but something was missing for me. Service was okay, though not especially friendly or helpful. We weren't offered drinks when we ordered and didn't see them on the menu, but found them in the cooler after taking a look around. Lots of stuff all over and most is for sale. I love little hole in the wall places; they almost seem to be trying too hard. Nothing to look at outside, lots of stuff everywhere inside. More than ample parking. Would be a fun visit for kids!”
